The topic of breastfeeding has always been rather controversial, as, despite numerous scientific researches, people have their own points of view regarding its necessity and duration. The famous singer Adele opened up about breastfeeding while at a concert in London, telling she just loved it.

Adele also made a joke that some people can’t imagine what they would do if they lived in the jungle and their breast milk disappeared all over the sudden.

Breastfeed if you can but don't worry, [formula milk] Aptamil's just as good. I mean, I loved it, all I wanted to do was breastfeed and then I couldn't and then I felt like, 'If I was in the jungle now back in the day, my kid would be dead because my milk's gone.' It's not funny that's how some of us think.

Other celebrities have also shared their opinion regarding breastfeeding and their own experience. For example, Jennifer Garner revealed her friends were not really supportive, and nobody said how emotional breastfeeding is.

You are not going to believe how emotional this is.

Nikki Reed about breastfeeding

Nikki Reed has recently talked about breastfeeding and mom-shaming, urging parents to support each other no matter what.

Nikki believes mothers should not be shamed for their choices, and it doesn’t matter whether a woman feeds her baby with the breast milk or with a formula. She also added that moms always choose what is best for her child.

I don’t believe that mom-shaming is ever OK. Fed, whether that’s with formula or breastfeeding or whatever works for your child and for you is what’s best.

On her Instagram account, Nikki shares her story of breastfeeding a 20-month-old baby, explaining she is not planning to stop.
