The incident occurred at a gas station in Chicago area. A suspect got inside a car, while its owner pumped gas. The thief acted so quickly that he didn’t notice an 11-year-old girl sitting on the back seat. He hit the gas, and the car moved from the spot at high speed.

The girl’s father jumped on top of the vehicle trying to stop the thief, but his attempt failed. Fortunately, his daughter didn’t flinch. The brave child jumped out of the moving car to save her life.

Thank God, the girl didn’t get hurt. Moments later, the girl and her father embraced in the parking lot as they watched their car being driven away. The video of this dramatic carjacking was later released by the Aurora Police Department on their Facebook page writing:

Miraculously, neither the girl nor her father were hurt.

Police officers also remind that if you have a child in a car, always take the kid with you when you’re out. Just give thieves what they want if it can save your life.
