The immigrant crisis with children separated from their parents at the Mexican border is making headlines during the last few weeks. Politicians and celebrities do whatever they can to help families of the illegal immigrants. What breaks people’s hearts most of all is watching little kids been separated from their moms and dads.

Ivanka Trump also couldn’t stay aside from the crisis. First Daughter made a donation to a Texas church that supports immigrant children. According to the Fox News, Ivanka donated $50,000 to Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano.

The Church Pastor, Jack Graham, said that Ivanka contacted him the next day after he tweeted about finding a solution to the border crisis.

Pastor Graham was touched by Ivanka’s gesture and said that her donation was the evidence of “the beauty of America.” He added:

We don’t have to wait for our politicians to sort out their disagreements in order to do what is right.

Ivanka Trump was not the only member of the Trump family who made a contribution to the crisis solution. A week ago, First Lady Melania Trump made a trip to Texas to visit a detention camp and check the conditions the kids live there.

Her visit came days after President Trump signed an order to reverse his “zero-tolerance” policy.
