Queen Doesn't Want To See Meghan Markle At The King And Queen Of The Netherlands' State Visit. What Did She Do This Time?

Meghan Markle is officially the member of the royal family and attends various royal engagements together with the Queen. Nevertheless, there is one event that she won’t see.

Recently, it was informed that the Queen invited the King and Queen of the Netherland to Buckingham Palace for a state visit. But why she hasn’t invited Meghan Markle?


It turned out, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be in the country during that time.

It is said in the statement of the Buckingham Palace:

Their Majesties The King and Queen of the Netherlands have accepted an invitation from The Queen to pay a State Visit to the United Kingdom from 23rd to 24th October 2018.


Meghan and Harry will be in Sydney from October 20th to 27th. In Australia, they will be present at the the Invictus Games before going on a Commonwealth tour.

The last time the members of Netherlands royal family visited the Buckingham Palace was back in 1982, when Her Majesty Queen Beatrix and Prince Claus of the Netherlands had a state visit in November of that year.
