Joe Mantegna Makes 'Criminal Minds' Fans Weep With His Emotional Farewell Letter As He Films The Final Scenes

Fans of Criminal Minds were left heartbroken when it was announced in January that the series’ 15th season would be its last.
The final season is expected to premiere later this year, and filming of the last episodes has just wrapped up! It feels surreal to us, just as it does to the series' cast and crew.
The last few weeks of filming have been emotional for everyone, including veteran cast member and fan favorite Joe Mantegna. David Rossi is a defining role in his career, and it’s not easy for Joe to say goodbye to David.
To honor his character, his remarkable colleagues, and the series’ loyal fans, the 71-year-old actor wrote a heartfelt farewell letter and shared it on social media:
