Jim McMullan was an incredibly talented actor whom we mostly remember from the hit 1960s series Ben Casey and the CBS soap opera Dallas.

McMullan played the role of Senator Andrew Dowling on Dallas for over 10 years, which is very impressive for any TV star.

Sadly, we won’t see him on the screen anymore as McMullan left this world.

Jim McMullan passed away aged 82 on May 31. The cause of his demise is believed to be the complications from ALS.

The actor was found not breathing at his home in California. The news was announced to The Hollywood Reporter by Jim’s wife of 49 years, Helene.
