Keaton captioned her post with a monologue about her love of these jeans and on how many occasions she has worn them. She wrote:

I WORE THEM ON THE PLANE. I WORE THEM IN THE HOTEL DUPONT. I WORE THEM IN THE DELAWARE ART MUSEUM. I WORE THEM ON A LONG WALK THROUGH THE WILMINGTON STREETS. I’M WEARING THEM ON THE TRAIN TO NYC. I’VE NEVER RECEIVED MORE COMPLIMENTS ON ANYTHING I’VE EVER WORN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

Social media users praised the actress and her style

The comment section of the post exploded with many sweet words of praises. People named Keaton “the best-dressed woman in history” and noted that the now-famous jeans are super cool.

@carolebayersager commented:

Love you and your cool pants.

@loriasnyder87 added:

We wore those in the 70’s and called them elephant pants for the wide legs! Love them on you.

What do you think about those jeans? Would you wear them?
