Hayek seems like she is extremely happy with her marriage. However, tying the knot with a billionaire has its own disadvantages.

A new kind of discrimination

Recently, the Hollywood icon had a candid interview with Town&Country where she touched on very personal topics, including racism. Salma revealed she has faced "millions” incidents of discrimination. But some of them were not even connected to her profession.

She says that she feels like it’s also racism, but another kind. Hayek stated:

They can’t believe this Mexican ended up in the life that she has, and they are uncomfortable around me.

Nonetheless, marrying a billionaire doesn’t mean that Hayek can now just lie on the sofa all day or make endless shopping trips. The actress said that Pinault encouraged her to go back to work after giving birth to their daughter because he believes “the world has not seen the best of her.”
