New Dad Prince Harry Made A Rare Solo-Appearance At Lady Gabriella's Wedding Without Meghan

Date May 20, 2019 13:22

Lady Gabriella Windsor arranged her nuptials almost in accordance with Prince Harry and Meghan's wedding. The venue was the same and the date was only a day earlier than the Sussex couple's anniversary. The inspiration itself, the Duke, didn't miss the ceremony.

Ella, as called by her friends, arrived at St. George’s Chapel of Windsor Castle to begin her fairytale with Thomas Kingston. She walked down the aisle in a gorgeous gown by her dream designer, Luisa Beccaria. Many senior members of the royal family, including the Queen and her publically-retired husband, Prince Philip, were present at the ceremony.

An unexpected attendance

Prince Harry was not thought to be at Lady Gabriella's big day. He is supposedly on parental leave, as it's only been 2 weeks since he became a daddy and welcomed little Archie. It seems like he can bend the rules for his beloved relatives after all. The handsome Duke entered the banquet with the bride's sister-in-law, Sophie.

Shortly after his arrival, Harry joined his timelessly beautiful grandma, Queen Elizabeth II. They beamed broadly and looked incredibly happy in the candid shots. Was she congratulating him on his first wedding anniversary or was the glow all about Lady Gabriella? Maybe both!

Meghan's absence

It's obvious why the Duchess of Sussex couldn't make to the grand occasion. She is on maternal leave to spend as much as time with her newborn son, who's just days old. The family let daddy make a solo appearance because it was one afternoon anyway. No biggie.
