Allegedly "Manipulated" Lori Loughlin And Husband Mossimo Think They "Might Be Breaking Rules, Not Laws"

Date April 17, 2019 15:04

The nationwide college admissions cheating scam still continues for Lori Loughlin.

Reportedly, the Fuller House star paid $500,000 for her daughter Olivia Jade to enter the University of Southern California. When Loughlin was arrested, she had to pay $1 million bond before the official hearing in court.

Not guilty?

According to a new report, Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli don't think they broke any laws in the bribery scandal.

[Lori and her husband] claim they were under the impression they might be breaking rules, but not laws.

The couple has pleaded not guilty, while Felicity Huffman heartbreakingly spoke about betraying her daughter and being involved in a cheating scam.

Reportedly, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli feel "manipulated" by those involved and are seriously planning that as part of their defense.

They realize how serious the charges are, but feel that once the judge hears their story he will see they had no bad intentions.

Loughlin and Giannulli's daughters have different views on the whole situation: while Bella supports her parents, Olivia Jade is seemingly off the handle.

The couple could face 40 years in prison

It's definitely a huge deal! According to official reports, Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli might face up to 40 years in prison and over $1 million in fines after they paid money to allegedly bribe officials.

Simply put, it's considered as a new charge on money laundering in addition to mail fraud.
