Anderson Cooper’s touching tribute

The CNN presenter has recently remembered his late mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, writing a heartbreaking post on his official Instagram account.

In the end, after all else is stripped away, there is only love. My mom believed in love more than anyone. It was her guide, her solace, it’s what drove her, and in her final moments, it is what surrounded her. “i love you, you know that,” she would say to me, and i did, i knew it from the moment i was born, and i will know it till the moment i die. It was her greatest gift to me.

Gloria Vanderbilt was a rather popular American artist, author, actress, and fashion designer. She was also known for being the early developer of designer blue jeans. By the way, Gloria Vanderbilt was the one who inspired Paul McCartney to release a song Mrs. Vandebilt back in 1974.

And we ALL love you too...

And your mom knew how much YOU loved her. What a gift that is.....♥️♥️

You are a lucky person.

I’m so sorry for your loss Coop. She was extraordinary in so many ways.

I don't know you, but the way you carry yourself with class and poise and dignity, I would say that your mom did a fine job. My condolences.

Anderson Cooper is such a caring and loving son!
