Singer Granger Smith Opens Up About Final Moments Right Before His 3-Year-Old Son Died

Sad news

The popular country singer had tearfully announced on Twitter and Instagram that his 3-year-old son River died. A rep for the musician confirmed that River died from a drowning accident at home. Last moments with River

At the beginning of the clip, the couple thanked everyone for the outpour of love following River’s death. The singer shared the final moments with his son that changed his family and said:

I was outside playing with London. We were doing gymnastics in the yard and the boys were doing a water gun fight. I remember thinking …'Soak up this moment because it’s not going to last forever.' River was later rushed to hospital but the doctors unable to revive him and he passed away two days later. The couple are also parents to daughter, London, and son, Lincoln.

Granger, your first post on river made me cry hysterically and this last one made me cry as well but not from sadness from admiration and pride, wow!! Awesome way to show God and the man you are!! I can’t imagine what you all are going through but I am awed by your example on how to do so, what a great eat example on how to get thru adversity. I will continue the pray for your family.
