$500 billion lawsuit
When actresses Felicity and Lori Loughlin paid an enormous amount of money so that their daughters would get a chance to study in elite schools, this affected someone else's place in the universities.
Shortly after the news broke, Jennifer Kay Toy, a former Oakland school teacher, sued Lori and Felicity for $500 billion. She did this because her son was trying to get into one of the colleges where the bribery scandal took place and didn't get in. The former school teacher is preparing to fight for justice against the actresses.
Kind words for Felicity Huffman
Desperate Housewives actress Dana Delany has nothing but kind words for her former co-star who recently pleaded guilty in the college admissions scandal.
The 63-year-old actress told Us Weekly at the 2019 TCM Classic Film Festival opening night gala and 30th-anniversary screening of When Harry Met Sally in Hollywood on Thursday that:
I just think that Felicity gave the perfect statement. And I think she’s handling it very well. I just wish her the best.
Felicity pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy and fraud over her involvement in the nationwide college admissions cheating scam.
Will Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman go to prison?
An official believe Lori and Felicity won’t be getting off that easy as prosecutors will do everything to make the actresses pay for what they’ve done and serve some time in prison.
Speaking further on the issues, the official said:
You can't have people being treated differently because they have money. That's how we got to this place. Every defendant will be treated the same.
What do you think about this situation? We hope justice would be served!
