Luke Perry, the beloved star of Beverly Hills, 90210 and Riverdale passed away on Monday following a massive stroke. The actor was only 52.

When the sad news was confirmed, numerous fans and Luke’s co-stars took to social media to express their condolences to the family and to pay tributes to Perry.

But we didn’t know about Luke’s final moments in the hospital until yesterday. According to US Weekly, Perry’s family had to take probably the hardest decision ever when found out there was no hope for his recovery.

The family decided to take Luke off life support after doctors said his brain wasn’t able to recover.

I made it back from Malawi just in time to be here with my family, And in the past 24 hours I have received an overwhelming amount of love and support.
