On Steve Irwin’s birthday, February 22, his grown-up kids took to social media to honor their late dad with heart-melting tributes.

Bindi shared a sweet throwback photo with her father enjoying a sunny day in a zoo. The young lady wrote in the caption:

Steve’s legacy keeps living

Steve Irwin passed away 12 years ago from a tragic incident while shooting an episode of his famous show Crocodile Hunter.

By the way, November 15th is officially Steve Irwin’s Day. In such a way, Steve was honored for his tremendous achievements for wildlife.

Needless to say, the Irwin family misses Steve very much. Last year, Bindi Irwin posted an emotional video of the 'Crocodile Hunter' talking about the possibility of saying goodbye to his work one day.

In the clip, Steve said he would only consider retiring the show when his children are able to take what he had built and run with it.
