“It’s Okay To Let Go”: ‘Willy Wonka’ Star Denise Nickerson Was Taken Off Life Support Following A Severe Stroke

The 62-year-old Willy Wonka star Denise Nickerson was taken off life support following a stroke a year ago. It was a heartbreaking decision for her son and family.

Denise Nickerson suffered a stroke one year ago. All this time, fans keep praying for the Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory actress.
Earlier these days, Denise’s family shared an important update on her health, saying she was in critical condition.
The actress’ son Josh announced the news via Facebook and revealed their heartbreaking decision to take Denise off life support.
Josh wrote in his post:
None of it was helping, but making her only more uncomfortable. We’re telling her it’s okay to let go.
The family said that Denise was no longer receiving any medications. Josh’ wife added that her husband still can’t accept the thought that his beloved mother would never see and hold her granddaughter.
