32 years ago on this day, the Hollywood heartthrob Mark Harmon and beautiful Pam Dawber exchanged their wedding vows and tied the knot in front of their families and friends.

Time goes by, but even after more than 3 decades together, Mark and Pam are still madly in love and can’t imagine their lives without each other. The spouses were introduced by a mutual friend.

Mark and Pam have two sons, who are just the carbon copies of their handsome father. Though the lovebirds prefer to keep a low profile in everything that relates to their personal life, from time to time they share the secrets of their successful and lasting marriage.

Opposites attract

Harmon said in an interview with People:

We were both in our thirties when we got married, so hopefully the stupid stuff we did earlier. That’s probably the closest I have to what the key is.

Another important thing that keeps their relationship strong after 32 years is their differences.

The actor explained:

We don’t generally like the same thing, and that’s been healthy for us, actually.

The fact that opposites attract seems to be working good for Harmon and Dawber.
