Meghan Markle is under fire after her recent surprise appearance at a polo match with other royals. Social media users slammed the new mom for holding baby Archie “like a sack of potatoes.”
Meghan’s surprise appearance at the polo match
On Wednesday, Meghan Markle surprised royal watchers with her unexpected appearance at Billingbear Polo Club. The Duchess came to support her husband Prince Harry who took part in the match together with his brother William.
It was a real joy for all fans to see Meghan in the spotlight again, especially as she was not alone but with her baby son Archie. By the way, Kate Middleton also took her 3 kids, George, Charlotte, and Louis, to support Prince William.
Meghan looked glowing in a casual oversized khaki olive dress and dark sunglasses. The doting mom was pictured holding baby Archie in her arms and sweetly kissing his head. What a heart-melting picture!
However, there were those who criticized Meghan for her incorrect actions while holding the baby. Some social media users pointed out that the new mom looked uncomfortable with Archie in her arms and even compared that she carried her baby “like a sack of potatoes.”

She has no clue how to hold a baby!!! She looks awkward!— Bethany Belle (@BethanyBelle3) July 10, 2019
No hat, no protection from the sun, wrapped up like a sack of potatoes and no bottle. How do you nurse in that dress?? And no idea how to hold that baby.— TrixieP (@TrixieParson) July 10, 2019
We really don’t understand why some people just need to ‘attack’ the new mom instead of saying something nice?!
We think Meghan is a very doting mom for her first baby. Even if she does something in a not-so-correct way, she will learn doing it right after a while. What do you think?
