CBS Family And Fans Mourn The Tragic Demise Of 26-Year-Old Meteorologist Alex Herbst: “He Will Be Missed Terribly”

Alex Herbst was a weekend meteorologist and weekday reporter for CBS 4 Rio Grande Valley.

He was well known for his consuming passion for the job and his distinct Southern Texas accent.

He took pleasure in his work as he firmly believed it was the work of a meteorologist to help protect the lives and properties of people.

At just 26, Herbst had reached great heights and was eager to do more for people.

Gone too soon

Unfortunately, all of Herbst’s ambitions came to an abrupt end when he passed away on Wednesday afternoon.

While the cause of his demise s not known yet, CBS celebrated his weather genius and described him as someone with an “uncommon ability to combine science and weather in an informative, interesting and entertaining way.”

In a Facebook tribute to the late meteorologist, CBS states that Herbst will be missed terribly.
