The Duchess of Cambridge is slowly acquiring new skills and royal techniques, which would make you the best Queen Consort when Prince William ascends the British throne. Royal expert Rebecca Long once told Us Weekly that Kate Middleton is getting prepared for her next big role.

Kate’s been taking on new responsibilities little by little over the last few years, so it won’t be a shock when the time comes. William and Kate are the favorite royals to take the crown in many generations, so the people of the U.K. are very excited about it.

Indeed, the mother-of-three has done a lot of remarkable and spectacular things over the last years and it would be wrong to deny her significance for the royalty.

Body language expert Judi James claimed Kate Middleton is actively preparing for becoming a Queen, but she will not change or modernize the British monarchy. She explained more in an interview with Express.co.uk:

Kate’s non-verbal signals suggest raised levels of confidence recently as she appears to be moving into a more high-profile royal role in her own right ... Kate is increasingly seen as a future leader in the family.

Albeit, the UK shouldn't expect big changes from the Duchess of Cambridge.

What I don’t think Kate will be as Queen is a massive modernizer and changer. Her roles as wife and mother seem dominant, unlike some of the royal women who excel in other careers...

Ms. James added Prince William's wife will likely to focus on the traditional path of charity work instead of having something ground-breaking as Princess Diana did before her.

The royals have been in one crisis or another for two generations now and Kate should be the ideal influencer for calm and stability again. As a future Queen though, Kate’s style should very much depend on the type of royal people will be hoping for. So far Kate has not put a foot wrong in terms of her royal role.

Though Kate Middleton's body language says she's determined, loyal, and reserved, she can follow author Sally Bedell Smith's secrets to success. She identified five rules: 1) be humble and discreet, 2) maintain a consistent style, 3) know your causes and avoid controversy, 4) embrace the countryside — and your in-laws, and 5) be a supportive spouse.
