Expert Says Meghan Markle Stopped Wearing Some Jewelry Gifts From Prince Harry Because Of Her Royal Status

Meghan Markle's jewelry is in the center of attention during her every outing as she likes to send some signs or messages through her unique choices.

It is almost impossible to imagine Duchess Meghan without pieces of jewelry, even if they are unnoticed or subtle. Be sure that she definitely wants to mark something special or pay tribute to someone with her accessories.

Nonetheless, Meghan Markle stopped wearing several jewelry gifts from her husband Prince Harry for one heartfelt, sentimental reason.

During two years of dating, the former Hollywood actress was spotted with some demure necklaces and bracelets gifted by the ginger-head royal, but Meghan traded some of them into more lavish pieces.

Ben Johnson, MD at Miltons Diamonds, explained Express:

Post marriage and after the birth of the couple's first child together, Meghan's jewelry choices have become more expensive and extravagant.

Johnson believes such a change is partially due to her status as a member of the royal family and the security that comes with this title. Another reason is due to a wide range of jewelry from the royal collection of Princess Diana.

However, Duchess Meghan still opts for her oldish style. Recently she's been spotted with a necklace with graved letters 'A' for Archie' and 'H' for Harry at the US Open in NYC.

This doesn't mean that Meghan has changed her personal style away from the UK that much though ... A stark reminder that although Meghan is away from the two most important men, they are very much a part of her. So much so that she now represents the UK, as a Royal, when visiting America.

According to Daily Mail, Meghan Markle has amassed a staggering collection of jewelry, estimated at $745K. She is thought to have 91 pieces in total, including seven necklaces, 23 bracelets, 26 rings, and 35 pairs of earrings.

It is reported to be more extensive than the jewelry owned by Kate Middleton, who has about 60 pieces with less price, too.
