Doting Brother Prince George Will Help Sister Charlotte When She Joins Him At St Thomas's Battersea School This Year, Royal Expert Claims

Date August 27, 2019

Kensington Palace announced that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s daughter, Princess Charlotte, will be resuming her first year at Thomas's Battersea in South-West London next month.

Princess Charlotte "can't wait" to go to school

The only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be joining schoolchildren around the world for resumption on September 5. For the first time, Princess Charlotte will be attending Thomas’s Battersea private school the same school as her older brother, Prince George.

The $23,000-per-year institution is about three miles from the family’s home. A royal insider speaking to PEOPLE said: “She can’t wait to be with George at the big school. She is so excited about it all.”

Showing the ropes

A royal expert Penny Junor has claimed that Prince George will help Princess Charlotte settle into school when she joins him in September. The royal biographer described Prince William’s firstborn as a 'protective older brother' to Charlotte, who will reportedly be dubbed ‘Charlotte Cambridge'.

Speaking to Hello magazine, Penny said:

Prince George is a very protective and lovely older brother. I'm sure he'll look after his little sister and take great pride in showing her the ropes.

Next month, Prince George will be starting his third year at St Thomas's Battersea while Charlotte will begin her first year at the prestigious private school.

Back in June, the Duchess of Cambridge told onlookers that the little princess is 'very excited to join her big brother'
