The Duchess of Sussex finally introduced her own clothing line! Over the last year, Meghan has been working closely with Smart Work Charity she was made patron of to launch an initiative very close to her heart.

After many visits to the charity’s headquarters, The Duchess noticed that women don’t get the right sizes and the staple pieces of every work wardrobe are simply not available for many of them.

That’s why the new mom decided to launch her own line to make sure those women are ‘properly equipped for the next chapter’ in their lives. For the launch, the Duchess chose a very work-appropriate outfit but she found a way to make it special.

Borrowing from mother-in-law

Meghan Markle dressed up her very simple ensemble with a few jewelry pieces that belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

The 38-year-old was spotted wearing stunning diamond butterfly earrings and a classy gold bracelet from Diana’s private collection.

Meghan mixed the family heirlooms with a couple of other bracelets which are believed to be worth over $2,000. The statement pieces served really well in elevating a simple pair of black trousers and white shirt, which are both a part of the Duchess’ collection.
