Over the weekend, Prince William and Kate Middleton took their three kids for a family getaway to a local pub. Probably, the royal parents decided to enjoy the final days of summer holidays with their little ones ahead of the new school year.

Family getaway for the Cambridges

Members of the royal family are just like the rest of us and enjoy doing the same things as we do. Over the weekend, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spotted spending time with their three kids, George, Charlotte, and Louis in a local pub in Kate's home village in Berkshire.

The pub is called Old Boot Inn. According to one of its landlords, William and Kate often come here to escape from the public eyes.

The landlord Andre Claassen said to The Mirror:

I think they like coming here because people leave them alone. No one bothers them or asks for selfies.

Mr. Claassen added that royal kids love playing with Kate outdoors when they come here altogether. He said the Cambridges “look just like an ordinary family” and it’s great.

Claassen added:

When George is here, he wears a camouflage outfit. You have to pretend like you can't see him. Charlotte's very cute.

By the way, other royal parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also enjoyed a humble dinner with their baby son at a village pub in Berkshire just a week ago.

We think it’s great that royal kids spent some quality time with their loving parents ahead of the upcoming school year. George and Charlotte start a new term at school on September 5. We wish them good luck on their first day of study!
