Contrary to some reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have confirmed that the aren't moving to Africa, at least not anytime soon.

On ITV's new documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, Prince Harry said that even though they had just returned from Cape Town, it will not be tenable for them to be based there permanently.

He explained that while it might sound like a good idea, being in those surroundings may not be possible.

With all the problems that are going on there, I just don’t see how we’d be able to really make as much difference as we’d want to without the issues and the judgment of how we would be with those surroundings.

Plans are underway for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry thanksgiving 2019 to take place in the United States, reports say.

A royal source revealed to The Sunday Times that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have a full schedule until mid-November, at which point they will likely take some time off.

There were suspicions that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Christmas will take place in the United States but according to these reports, the couple will spend their first Christmas with their son Archie with the Queen and other royal family members at Sandringham.

As for Thanksgiving, it was reported that the Sussexes intend to take a trip to Los Angeles and spend the holiday with Meghan's mother Dorial Ragland.

It seems like these Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sabbatical plans are very much needed for the couple who has faced a lot of scrutiny in recent times.

Fans have reacted to these reported plans by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to take spend some time in the US.

They are concerned that the royal family, including Meghan's mom Doria, will be hounded by the paparazzi while they are in the US.

Clearly, these royal fans feared that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry US trip may not be as relaxing as they may hope.

We can deduce that if Harry and Meghan do indeed plan to spend time in the United States, they may have set some processes in motion to ensure that this will be a smooth trip for them.

Understandably, the Sussexes deserve a long break especially considering Meghan's recent declaration where she seemed vulnerable. Hopefully, everyone feels better after getting a little rest.
