Royal Divorce: Expert Claims Princesses Beatrice And Eugenie Had A “Stability” William And Harry Found “Lacking”

Date October 4, 2019 13:46

Prince William and Prince Harry had a different experience in dealing with the public divorce of their parents as children. A royal expert claims that unlike their cousins, Beatrice and Eugenie were able to have a family unit with their divorced parents.

What Diana thought about her sons

One of Princess Diana’s closest confidants and personal chef Darren McGrady revealed what the princess thought about her two children. Speaking to Daily Mail, McGrady said Diana believed William was more like his father, while Harry inherited her character.

He said:

The boys are different like that. She always used to say, 'William is deep like his dad and stubborn, and Harry is a hothead like me; he does the first thing that comes into his head.

Interesting claim

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie just like their royal cousins William and Harry experienced the pain and turmoil of their parents’ divorce publicly back in 1996.

Over the years, the Duke and Duchess’s relationship healed, and they have developed a family unit that has helped their daughters flourish.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward claims that the princess has stability from their divorced parents’ relationship, unlike Harry and William. Speaking to PEOPLE, the author said:

“Beatrice and Eugenie have had a stability that William and Harry have found painfully lacking in their lives. Although their early childhood was not good, those girls have had a very secure upbringing.” Of course, for William, and Harry, their sadness over their own parents’ divorce was compounded by the fact that their mother, Princess Diana, died in a car crash just as she was starting to create new contentment in her post-divorce life.

Hardships of living in a public eye

The royal sisters in an interview with British Vogue opened up about how hard it is to live in a public eye. Understand their status and the difficulties that come with it Princess Eugenie said:

It’s so easy to recoil when you see a perfect image, but it’s important that it’s real. We’re real.

Despite that, we are certain the royal brothers have healed and are happy now with their individual families.
