It's All Because Of Grandpa: Cheeky Princess Charlotte Stuck Out Her Tongue When She Saw Kate Middleton’s Dad

Princess Charlotte, the only daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, was caught on camera showing off her cheeky side at the King's Cup regatta. Though the princess was praised and bashed for her behavior, the reason for showing her tongue has been revealed.

Cheeky little royal

The young princess is not shy in public unlike her elder brother, Prince George. Charlotte showed her cheeky side yet again to the paparazzi as she stuck out her tongue during The King's Cup regatta.

Kate Middleton urged her daughter to wave to the crowd after the race, but the princess stuck out her tongue instead. The Duchess quickly pulled her daughter away from the window while she laughed at Charlotte’s antics.

Why did Charlotte do that?

The reason for the princess sticking out her tongue has been revealed. As it turns out Charlotte did it because she'd spotted her grandfather, Michael Middleton in the crowd.

According to Hello!, Kate was trying to show Charlotte and George a familiar face and so she pointed at her father, Michael. The response of the princess gives an understanding of the playful relationship between Kate’s dad and Charlotte.

Royal fans were thrilled when the two eldest Cambridge kids made a surprise appearance while they accompanied their parents and grandparents.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte were seen cheering their parents, Kate and William, from a boat as the couple battled against each other in a charity sailing regatta.

Younger royals Prince George and Princess Charlotte stole the spotlight again as they joined William and Kate at the King's Cup regatta. George looked so adorable wearing a captain's hat with his front teeth noticeably missing.

He was definitely the cutest sailor at the King's Cup regatta. Meanwhile, Charlotte had all eyes on her as she sweetly showed her tongue to the waving crowd.

It is pretty clear Princess Charlotte and her grandfather have a great and playful relationship.
