Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are struggling in the spotlight. It reminds the Duke of her mother's tragedy with every camera click and flash. But, he's most concerned about his wife and child.

Paul Burrell may have figured out the best course of action for the Sussex family.

Since her wedding, the Duchess has been vilified by media outlets. It was challenging enough already as she adapted to the new role of a Royal, a wife, and a mother.

Soon enough, people accused the pair of hypocrisy over their use of private jets and luxurious amenities. Harry and Meghan are environmental warriors. Hence, they got slammed for not practicing what they preach.

What would've been Princess Diana's guidance?

Lady D's former butler, Paul Burrell backs the Sussex couple all the way. He feels for them even more after their ITV's documentary: Harry & Meghan: An African Journey. In the candid interview, the Duke and Duchess showed vulnerability and explained how the press negativity affects them.

Burrell thinks late Princess would've helped her son and daughter-in-law greatly. She had similar experiences and always strived to stay afloat amid criticism. Paul said:

She [Princess Diana] would have run toward her [Meghan Markle] and embraced her. She would have given all the advice that she could have.

He further added:

I think Diana would say to them, ‘Don’t do what I did. Don’t listen to everything that’s being said about you. Don’t read it. Don’t watch it. You know who you are.

Is history repeating itself?

While talking to Inside Edition, Diana's confidant revealed he finds Meghan and the Princess' situation identical. When the Duchess confided on Tom Bradby that she's not okay, she looked as miserable as deceased Diana. Paul admitted that it made him recall how Lady Spencer was wounded the same way by the unjust publishers.

Can you take Paul Burrell's word for it? Did he really know People's princess so much? If we pay heed to what he says, it's an urgency to support and love the Sussex couple more than ever.
