Dr. Phil Thinks Meghan Markle And Princess Diana Are The Same Type Of Woman, According To New Documentary

In the hope to have a more secluded and independent life, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a huge step as they moved to Canada. The couple said “no, thank you” to their royal lives, as well as their HRH titles, and bid their last goodbyes to the UK.

Now the Sussexes are starting a new chapter of their lives in North America, even though some experts think that they won’t be able to hide from paparazzi there. Would Princess Diana approve their decision? She might, as Dr. Phil is certain Meghan Markle and Princess Diana are very similar.

Many people love watching Dr. Phil’s videos but recently the TV star spoke in a brand new documentary about the Sussex couple.

In a prime time special titled Harry & Meghan: The Royals In Crisis, Dr. Phil noted that Meghan and Diana are the same type of woman. He said:

Harry’s mother was sassy, beautiful, independent and here he comes and marries this woman that is sassy, beautiful, and independent.

If we look at it in that way, the two women do seem very similar, aren’t they? Dr. Phil is not the only one who noticed similarities between Meghan Markle and Princess Diana.

Larry King also once noted that the former actress reminded him of Prince Harry’s mother. He said that both women share the same passion for standing up for what they believe in. King commented:

She [Meghan Markle] reminded me of Lady Diana in the way that she speaks up for what she believes is right.

A royal author Andrew Morton, too, spoke about the qualities Meghan and Diana have in common. He noted that both ladies have a compassionate side. In his engagement interview, Harry said that his mother would have become ‘best friends’ with Meghan. Perhaps those shared qualities would have helped them to bond.

The new documentary

There will be a lot of people talking about the Sussex couple in The Royals In Crisis, including:

  • American actress Claudia Jordan;
  • British broadcaster Afua Hirsch;
  • British TV personality Mark Francis Vandelli.

The documentary airs on January 29 on Fox and will explore the consequences of Harry and Meghan’s decision to leave the royal family. It’s one of the many specials that had been made about the couple since their wedding. It seems that every event in Meghan and Harry’s life is now being turned into a new documentary but are they really going to help royal fans to understand better what is going on in the Sussexes’ lives?
