When the world is getting over Australia’s bushfire disaster, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to drop another bomb on us. The couple announced they are resigning from their roles as senior royals and partially moving to Canada. It looks like their decision might have affected Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry’s relationship.

Queen Elizabeth’s reaction on Meghan Markle and Harry’s news

Meghan Markle and Queen Elizabeth managed to forge a close bond through the years but could it survive the catastrophic time the royal family seems to be going through? It’s the question for physics.

According to BBC, the monarch supports Harry and Meghan and their wish to be independent from the royal family. In her personal statement, the Queen noted that she ‘would have preferred’ a different course of events but she and other members of the family ‘respect’ the Sussexes’ wish.

However, a body language expert revealed to Express that the monarch is not being honest about her true feelings. The Queen has grown up perfecting the art of royal indifference. She has been hiding her emotions with an awe-worthy mastery.

But sometimes, it’s very hard to conceal what is bugging you inside, even for her. The body language expert analyzed the monarch’s behavior during a church service at St. Mary Magdalena Church, which took place after Meghan and Harry’s announcement.

Here’s what has been said:

  • it looked like the Queen was experiencing 'immense sadness;'
  • the monarch seemed to exude the feeling of 'isolation;'
  • the Queen was not looking her usual glowing self.

We can totally understand why she was feeling out of place. As they say, body can't lie.

What else the royal’s body language can tell?

It’s’ not the first time the Queen’s body language was scrupulously analyzed by professionals. We all want to know what hides behind her façade. According to Susan Constantine, the monarch loves her grandchildren and wants to connect with them.

That also applies to Meghan Markle, who has become the royal’s granddaughter-in-law. The Queen rarely laughs as hard as she laughed with the Duchess of Sussex during their solo engagement back in 2018.

Knowing all of that makes us feel so sorry for the monarch. At 93, all one can wish is for their family to be happy and united but the royal family seems to be getting more and more divided. Nonetheless, we hope that the Sussexes will visit the Queen as often as possible and mend their relationship with the Cambridges as well.
