Kate Middleton being the eldest granddaughter-in-law of the Queen is burdened with a lot of royal duties and thankfully, her efforts are well-recognized. Her Majesty recently gave her another gift of appreciation.

On Wednesday, Prince Williams's wife stepped out for a royal engagement in Buckinghamshire. Kate made a surprise visit to children at Christmas tree farm after her new patronage announced.

The mother of three looked chic in a red puffer jacket, jeans, and boots. She joined children and families for Christmas activities, including decoration making at Peterley Manor Farm's Elves Enchanted Forest.

Queen Elizabeth II has bestowed another prestigious on the Duchess of Cambridge. The British monarch appointed Kate Middleton as the Royal Patron of Family Action.

The announcement for it was made by Buckingham Palace in a statement that was posted on the official royal website. The statement reads:

The Duchess of Cambridge has spent much of the last eight years meeting charities and organizations who work every day to make our families and communities stronger. There is a powerful correlation between a parent or carer’s wellbeing and their child’s development, which is why organizations such as Family Action that provide support are instrumental to a child’s future. This new patronage aligns with Her Royal Highness’ longstanding work in the early years, and the importance of supporting children and families during this seminal period of their lives.

Kate is taking from Her Majesty who has held the position since 1953. The monarch assumed the role after she took over from Queen Mary. Back in 1869, the Family Action was founded to help less privileged families in difficulty by giving them practical help and support.
