Prince William and Kate Middleton want their kids to have the same experiences as normal children would have as they are growing up. That’s why the royal mom came up with the sweetest tradition.
Kate Middleton’s family tradition
Kate Middleton’s children are one very lucky bunch. The Duchess is known to be a hands-on mom, who always makes sure that her kids have the best birthdays ever.
But how does she do it? The royal has just shared a little family tradition she came up with for her kiddos’ special days.
During a BBC holiday special A Berry Royal Christmas, Kate revealed to beloved British cook Mary Berry that she always bakes birthday cakes for her children. She said:
I love making the cake. It's become a bit of a tradition that I stay up 'til midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing and I make far too much. But I love it.
And we are certain that George, Charlotte, and Louis love it, too! Kate wasn’t joking, check out her amazing baking skills:
It turns out Prince William is not bad at baking himself. What a lovely family they are!
Royal fans’ reactions
@Maree Lynn Woodcock:
Thought it was a great insight to the work Kate and William do and the balance between being a royal and being parents

Lovely mum Duchess of Cambridge
Prince William, Kate Middleton and their kids might be royals but they are the most normal and down-to-earth regal family ever. Recently, the Duchess noted that she really wants to treat her kids to Marry Poppins show at the Prince Edward Theatre as she loves and we are certain they would like it, too!
