Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their wish to share the festive time with the Duchess’ mom Doria instead. Even though the royal family reportedly supports their decision, Sir Rod Stewart doesn’t think it’s a great idea.
Rod Stewart is disappointed with the news
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Christmas plans upset the British rock singer. Rod Stewart’s 2019’s holiday celebration would have included his parents, who passed away in the 90s, and he thinks the Sussex couple should have considered the Queen’s age, too.
The veteran musician criticized Meghan and Harry for choosing to spend Christmas with Doria, noting that the Queen is 93 years old and she might not have many Christmases left.
I was disappointed Harry and Meghan decided not to spend Christmas with the Queen. If I was Harry, I’d think there was plenty of time in the future to have Christmases on my own or with Meghan’s mum.
No business of Rods....good on them spending xmas with her mother....relaxed and without criticism. Good on them and a merry less stuffy xmas to them!
Got nothing to do with him Karen Morrow What so it's ok for Prince William and Kate the Duchess of Cambridge to have Christmas with her family one Christmas I so remember. Good for Prince Harry and Meghan the Duchess of Sussex to spend Christmas with her Mum
Stewart has 8 children from different women so we can be certain his Christmas will be filled with joy and laughter. But should he judge other people’s decisions on how to spend their holidays?
