Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are "Incredibly Miserable" And "Unhappy" But Unable To Help Each Other, Says Expert

Date October 24, 2019

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are facing renewed interest after they opened up about some tough experiences in their documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.

Some experts have claimed that the decision to wear their hearts on their sleeves so publicly served to do more harm than good for their image. For instance, PR expert Mark Borkowski said that the family broke royal protocol by explaining themselves rather than just letting things slide.

Their revelations received mixed reviews from royal followers. While some are sympathetic, others seem even angrier by the royal couple's choice to put everything out in the open.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are "unhappy"

Speaking to Sky News, royal biographer Angela Levin expressed that the Sussexes just don't seem to be in good spirits.

I think [Harry] feels and looks incredibly miserable and unhappy. Meghan is unhappy too and it seems incredibly sad that they can't seem to help each other at the moment.

Levin opined that Harry's distress could have been caused by his decision to retrace Princess Diana's steps while in Angola earlier this month.

She added that it was "unfortunate" that the Duke is going through "another wave of agony" over the loss of his mother.

More mixed views

The idea that the Sussexes are struggling at this point invited even more mixed reviews from fans.

Some think they should endure things better while others feel bad for their struggles.

Regardless of the many opinions out there, it's still safe to say that being at the center of such relentless criticisms and judgment can't be easy. Sure, the royal family may be rich and famous, but they are still humans and they will always attempt to handle challenges in any way they feel is best.
