As a freelance calligrapher, Meghan had a high-profile job: she wrote wedding invitations for Paula Patton and Robin Thicke in 2005.
The future princess was working at a gift-wrapping store Paper Source and was noticed for her beautiful handwriting.
Paula Patton immediately noticed something special in Meghan, and now, she claims she knew her destiny a long time ago.
She had this beautiful writing. That moment I feel like I said something to her. Like, 'You are meant to be royal'... She was just so graceful and lovely, and actually really kind.
It's like the famous actress instantly knew that the future princess is working on her wedding invitations.
Funnily enough, Patton might've picked up on Markle's royal roots.
After long research of Meghan's genealogy, a royal biographer Andrew Morton discovered that she's a distant relative of Scottish warlord Robert the Bruce.
It is the lineage of Meghan’s gran that can be traced directly to the Scottish royals and more.
Maybe, Paula Patton should change her profession since she has such a sharp eye for royal blood.
We wonder if Meghan will write a few special cards for her future family. That would be a very nice gesture to mark the occasion.
