No one is immune to criticism even if you are a daughter of the US president. Some time ago, she’s been subjected to huge amounts of criticism from the former chief strategist of Donald Trump, Steve Bannon. He called the combination of the workforce of Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, ‘Javanka’ in the following context:

In the recent book of Ronald Kessler, Steve Bannon claims that even Donald Trump himself has admitted the fact that the positions his daughter and her husband take in the White House don’t match their skills, saying they 'screwed up' and are a 'problem.'

What is more, the book quotes Bannon who says:

They're nice people, but they don't know anything. If their name wasn't Trump, they would be midlevel marketing managers somewhere.

And that wasn’t the only negative thing Bannon says in the book by quoting the president who warned them not to come to the White House at all:

You don't understand how this town is going to kill you. Don't come.
