The invites are ready

The wedding invitations are ready and already being sent out. The Kensington Palace announced that the invites were issued "in the name of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales."

At the time, no names were written on the cards, so we were not exactly sure who was getting an invite. But the official page for the royal family has given us a few more insight into those who will celebrate with Harry and Meghan at Windsor Castle.

Some specially chosen people have gotten their invites

Earlier, the royal family announced a few people who learned they will be "amongst the 2,640 people at Windsor Castle for Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle's wedding."

It was also revealed that Lord Lieutenants have been directed to invite 1,200 people to join the celebrations. The lucky ones were carefully chosen to include those who have shown "strong leadership and those who have served their communities." See some of them below:

Philip Gillespie who has been raising funds and awareness for a charity after an IED incident in Afghanistan caused him to lose his right leg.

Pamela Anomneze who has dedicated herself to helping those recovering from mental health issues.

Reuben Litherland who did not let his disability hold him down. He has chosen to inspire and empower others.

Amy Wright, a young lady who supports youths with special needs.
