Kelly Ripa And Mark Consuelos Showed Off Their Tenderness And Parental Love As They Said "Good-Bye" To Daughter Lola's Childhood Life

Date October 23, 2019

It is rather difficult for all parents to experience the situation when kids grow up and stop being as small as they were before.

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos faced the tearful milestone in 2019. Their daughter Lola graduated from high school and it was a grand and emotional event for the entire family. However, the most difficult part was yet to come.

A tearful but happy send off to college

Kelly Ripa took to social media to tribute her daughter's big moment and say an emotional goodbye. First, the 48-year-old host posted a throwback of Lola's christening.

She also added the following caption:

#tbt 2001 from your Christening to college. In the blink of an eye. I’m not crying. You’re crying 😢 (actually Daddy’s sobbing) 😭

And then, Kelly shared a touching photo of her embracing and kissing Lola as the teenager left for college and added "The nest is getting roomy.........💕."

Although it's hard for the celebrity couple to see their baby leave the nest, they already went through it before when their eldest son moved out of the family home.

Michael graduated in 2016, so Kelly and Mark had a bit of practice in seeing their baby go off into the big world.

But we hope they will remain as close as they were before!
