Beloved British comedian Rowan Atkinson tied the knot with makeup artist Sunetra Sastry in 1990. The pair had 2 children and was happy together for 25 years until Rowan fell in love with someone else.

Mr. Bean star met a fellow actress Louise Ford in 2013. She is 30 years younger than him but the age has never become an issue for them. Atkinson left his wife and found new happiness so Sastry decided to file for divorce.

They divorced in 65 seconds

Sunetra Sastry filed for divorce citing ‘unreasonable behavior’ as the ground. Atkinson was not present at the Central Family Court.

The District Judge Stephen Alderson ordered a “quickie” procedure and the couple was no longer married just in 65 seconds.

Divorce papers didn’t specify what kind of “unreasonable behavior” of her famous husband allowed Sunetra to get such a quick divorce. A head of family law at Slater and Gordon, notes that it can be something as little as "he never listens" or he "always wants to go out with friends."

Atkinson met Louise Ford when they both starred in Quartermaine’s Terms in the West End. Ford’s boyfriend at that time recalled that the actress grew distant after she started working with Rowan.

He found out that Louise left him for “Mr. Bean” via a newspaper a year after they broke up. Despite hurting their former partners, Rowen and Louise are happy together and in 2017, they welcomed their first child.
