The Gaines family got a little bigger in June 2018, when little Crew was born. The Fixer Upper stars Joanna and Chip Gaines revealed that they were not even thinking about a baby when they got confirmation that Joanna was pregnant. However, the entire family warmly received the news.
With four older siblings and a doting dad, Crew could not have come at a better time. Now, the couple is no longer recording their show; they have a lot more time on their hands to care for the little child. In addition, they get a lot of help from the older kids.
Fans of the Gaines write comments on photos Joanna posts on Twitter and Instagram. As for Crew, he always looks so content in the pictures, and the special bond between family members is undeniable.
Great picture!! You can just hear the big kids laughing and having fun!! Little Crew sleeping peacefully without a care in the world. This picture represents what childhood is.❤❤❤— Martha Brittain (@MarthaBrittain) August 4, 2018

In her tweet, Joanna gave fans a peek into the drama she goes through raising kids. The delightful picture showed Crew in a cot at one corner with a carpet covered in shawls, diapers, and a bottle of lotion. Must have been a rough night for the duo.
The post was an instant hit! Several mothers also shared their experiences with raising newborns in show of support for Joanna.
The first time I experienced a blowout was when my baby was four days old. I almost had her new diaper Fastened when she pooped and it went everywhere! On me... the walls... changing table... diaper genie. I just stood there looking at the mess like, “how did you make this?”— Jessica Jones (@Librarynerd1402) August 5, 2018

Motherhood can be a mixed bag of blessings, especially as raising babies in the first year is almost like a chess game. As babies are unable to speak, they often express themselves by crying. Thankfully, Joanna has all the support she needs from her family and adoring fans.
