Praising God Doesn't Get Better Than This: 4 Kids Praise And Worship God In Style

... and they said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read. Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have prepared praise’?” (Matthew 21:16)
These are the words of the Bible in Matthew 21:16, and we definitely agree.
There's something about when kids praise, something so powerful that it can brighten days, lift depression and, in some cases, inspire a new devotion to God.
Kids Are Unpretentious Worshipers
There have been many videos shared online of kids and babies singing (and babbling) gospel songs recently, some of which have gone viral. It's not hard to see why.
Kids are generally unpretentious in their worship and praise and do it wholeheartedly with no other motive but to praise God.
Even Babies Tear Up In Worship
In one of these videos, a baby was moved to tears as his mother sang a worship song "Good Good Father" to him.
Obviously, there's no way to tell what he was thinking, but on an emotional level, he may as well have been expressing what he didn't have the words to say - that he loves the Lord, at such a young age.
Jesus Christ must have known this, as He said:
Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven. (Matt 19:14)
Babies Can Also Pick Up Songs From Us
Another video shows a baby babbling the words of a song while being carried by a relative who was singing. He wasn't getting the lyrics obviously, but he was doing what he could, singing praise to God anyway.
And because of that, this video puts a smile on the faces of everyone who sees it. Such abashed love for the Lord! It's no wonder that in Matthew 18: 2-5, the Bible says:
He (Jesus) called a little child to him, and placed the child among them.
And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me."
Children are the apple of God's eyes, and it might have something to do with the fact that when they praise, they do it willingly, unabashedly, and with their whole hearts - something that we should all strive to emulate too.
A Boy Sings His Way To Freedom
