They say that every person has a twin somewhere, and some even have a few. If commoners meet their doppelgangers only by luck, celebrities tend to see their clones more often. We have repeatedly heard about the doubles of Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, and even Meghan Markle. But the Duchess isn’t the only representative of the royal family who has a “copy.” In May 2019, Princess Charlotte turned only 4, but she already has her real-life clones.

Marcy Culverwell is a charming 5-year-old who is often confused with the little Princess. According to the girl’s mother, Gemma, they are often stopped by surprised passersby. The woman didn’t note such a striking similarity until the strangers began to pay attention to her kid.

And here is another interesting point: Marcy doesn’t like trousers and prefers simple dresses, resembling the ones that we are accustomed to seeing Princess Charlotte in. However, Gemma didn’t seek to dress the baby as a young children's style icon.

If Marcy didn’t cooperate with the modeling agencies, her “colleague,” Scarlett Evered, has become a popular model already. She is a year older than the Princess and is also very similar to her in appearance.

The girl’s grandmother noticed this and made the girl’s mom, Victoria, send a photo of the kid to a model agency when she was about 15 months old. Since then, Scarlett has starred in various projects along with the doubles of Kate Middleton, and Princes William and George.

Victoria noted that her daughter liked to be in the center of attention and clearly understood that she wasn’t a princess but was simply playing the role.

Celebrity lookalikes, especially royal ones, have excellent opportunities for the future. In Britain, as in many other countries, staging is extremely popular. The actors take part in photo sessions, participate in fairs, and attend various social and charity events. The most popular of them can bring the clones a decent income.

But here is another question: how can a person have a doppelganger who isn’t his biological relative? In ancient Egypt, it was believed that these similar people had about the same life experience and even some shared memories. Later it was believed that only the person who subconsciously imitated his twin could meet him in real life. The novelists explained the clones’ existence by saying that each of us has some kind of alter ego. Overall, there have been a lot of mystical interpretations of this phenomenon.

Whatever it may be, let’s leave the question of the non-biological twins to scientists. What do you think about this? Have you met your double or would you like something similar to happen to you? Share your thoughts in the comments.
