At the same time, Diana’s had a certain type of footwear that she didn’t like – open toe sandals. She wore them only a few times during pregnancy. On other occasions, she always preferred exclusively closed shoes.

Since there is no reliable information, we can only be left to imagine and suggest the reasons why the Princess didn’t like this shoe type. First, she may have been dissatisfied with her toes or the size of her legs, because if the toes are long, it isn’t always convenient to walk in open-toed footwear. Secondly, such shoes could appear as too simple and not feminine enough. Thirdly, maybe she enjoyed doing a dark pedicure while the royals aren’t actually allowed to do this.

There can be a lot of reasons, but, like any other woman, Diana was entitled to her elegant choice. Her indifference to open-toed shoes is quite an understandable thing. What do you think about her shoe wardrobe? Share your thoughts in the comments.
