Swedish Princess Copied Meghan Markle’s Wedding Dress For A Different Occasion

Date June 19, 2018

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot on the 19th of May. It hasn’t been a month as Meghan’s wedding dress was copied by a member of another royal family – Swedish.

Let us remind you that Meghan had two dresses. She wore the second one to the dinner and party. It was a dress from British designer Stella McCartney.

There is no telling how closely Princess Sofia of Sweden followed the wedding of Harry and Meghan, but the fact remains – she copied the dress.

Maybe she was inspired by Meghan Markle’s look; maybe it was a mere coincidence as Stella McCartney is known all over the world. Anyway, the 33-year-old princess chose the same dress, but in emerald. This way, it was more appropriate as an evening dress.

Princess Sofia wore this dress to attend the 2018 Polar Music Prize ceremony. She also slightly echoed the duchess’ hairstyle. It was far from the same, but in all fairness, it did bear a resemblance. Free locks hanging in the front made her look more natural and flirty.
