Michael Schumacher’s Wife Sheds Light On Her Husband’s Mindset And Condition After 5-Year Long Silence
Fans of seven-time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher still know little about the their idol’s health condition. The family and doctors have kept silent for almost five years since the tragic accident in the French Alps.
Let us remind you that on December 29, 2013, while skiing with his son Mick and friends, Michael fell and hit his head on a rock. He was immediately taken to hospital and up to now several major brain surgeries have been performed. For nearly half a year, the legendary racer was in an induced coma, and when his condition slightly improved, he was transferred to a rehabilitation clinic. In the fall of 2014, Schumacher was brought home to a villa near Lake Geneva, where he is under constant medical supervision. It was then when the family requested privacy and stated that no more questions would be answered about his state of health.
Recently, a letter written by Michael Schumacher's wife, Corinna, to German composer, Sascha Herchenbach, has made its way to the public. The thing is that in December 2014, Sascha wrote a hymn called ‘Born To Fight’ in honor of the great racer. The musician sent Corinna a CD of the song without expecting a response. A few days later, he received a handwritten letter from her. The musician was stunned by such attention from the famous family.
Corinna Schumacher sincerely thanked him for the gift and support that helped the family through this difficult time.
We all know Michael is a fighter and will not give up.
It is not known for sure when this letter was written, but it wasn’t made public until November 2018.
Everyone wants to believe that the Formula One superstar will get better to the delight of his family, friends, and fans. Maybe the fact that Corinna Schumacher has bought a luxurious house in Mallorca has something to with upcoming rehabilitation of the famous patient.
We wish the great racer and fighter a win in the most important battle of his life!
