Meghan Markle May Choose A Different Hospital From The One Where Her Husband, Nephews, And Niece Were Born

Even though it seems like yesterday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced Meghan’s pregnancy, the upcoming baby delivery isn’t far off. At first, the royal family fans were waiting for the birth in spring, closer to May, but the royal astrologer has a different point of view.

Although there are already many theories about the gender, name, and title of the future baby, the public doesn’t know anything for certain. However, this doesn’t prevent new rumors: at the beginning of 2019, The Daily Mail reported that Meghan Markle could break yet another tradition.

Princes William and Harry became the first heirs to the throne who were born outside the Palace. Princess Diana decided to choose the prestigious St. Mary’s Hospital in the center of the British capital, thus establishing a new tradition: she appeared with the newborn immediately after the labor. All three small Cambridges were presented in exactly the same way.

According to The Daily Mail, Meghan Markle may opt for another hospital, Frimley Park, providing that the move to Frogmore Cottage will be completed before the baby is born. This choice is quite reasonable for at least two reasons. Frimley Park is almost 10 miles closer to the future home of the Sussexes. Harry and Meghan can also save quite a bit. The services offered by this medical institution are less extensive, as reported by The Sun. The cost of one night for Kate Middleton in a luxurious maternity ward Lindo Wing was more than $9,500. In addition to the full range of services, it includes comfortable living conditions, a private bathroom with toiletries, food, beverages, medicines, and much more.

Frimley Park hospital is significantly cheaper and doesn’t look like a 5-star hotel. The rooms are simpler and consist of the necessary furniture and equipment that help women cope with labor. Bathrooms are well equipped, but they aren’t individual. As a rule, if childbirth passes without complications, the mother and the baby go home already 6-12 hours after the labor. The cost of accommodation for a longer period is only $125 per night.

Unfortunately, we can’t tell for sure whether this information is wholly accurate. Eventually, time will tell. It’s possible that Meghan and Harry would like more privacy for their children. Since the Duchess recently had a much more modest lifestyle, she may not see any reason to choose such an expensive clinic. Or perhaps she simply doesn’t want to cause any tension in relations with Middleton. However, if she really chooses Frimley Park, isn’t it the possible reason for the conflict between William and Harry? What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments.
