Sofia Hellqvist was born in 1984. After graduating from school, she worked as a waitress and model for men's magazines. Her portfolio even includes topless photos. After her success in the modeling business, she was invited to participate in a reality show with erotic elements.

After that, Sofia moved to New York and studied accounting. There she also learned yoga, became an instructor, and soon opened her own center. After living in the US, she worked as a volunteer in South Africa, Senegal, and Ghana.

Sofia and Carl Philip’s love story

In 2009, she met Prince Carl Philip at a nightclub where they were relaxing with friends. Some time later, they began dating.

Carl and Sofia eventually got married in 2015. Since then, the former model of men's magazines, waitress, and yoga instructor received the royal title and became a princess.
