Forbes' Top Five Highest-Paid Actresses Of 2018

Every year Forbes magazine presents the rating of the top-earning actresses. How do you think, who became the most paid female celebrity in 2018? Let’s find out.

5. Reese Witherspoon ($16.5 million)

The role in the movie 'A Wrinkle in Time' helped the actress make it into the top five most earning women actresses in 2018.

4. Jennifer Lawrence ($18 million)

In comparison with 'Hunger Games', her last two films 'Mother!' and 'Red Sparrow' didn’t allow the actress to make it to the top three. However, she still made a lot of money, thanks to 'X-Men' and a beneficial agreement with Dior.

3. Jennifer Aniston ($19.5 million)

This year, the actress earned almost $20 million not because of the films but due to the promotional contracts with the Emirates airline, the cosmetic brand Aveeno, and the drinking water manufacturer Smartwater.

2. Angelina Jolie ($28 million)

Most of this amount was made for the shooting of the 'Maleficent' sequel.

1. Scarlett Johansson ($ 40.5 million)

The Black Widow role in the film 'Avengers: Infinity War' proved to be very profitable for the actress. As a result, Johansson was able to quadruple her income compared to the last year.

As you can see, this year only two actresses managed to overcome the mark of 20 million dollars, compared with three in 2017 and four in 2016.

The top ten also included: Mila Kunis, Julia Roberts, Cate Blanchett, Melissa McCarthy, and Gal Gadot.

By the way, Emma Stone, who became the most highly paid actress of last year, didn’t get into the new top five, having managed to earn slightly more than $10 million.
