Trumps Are In The Center Of Attention Again: Melania Is Criticized For Narcissism, Donald – For Being Tactless

Donald Trump is probably one of the most discussed presidents in recent years due to regularly appearing scandalous materials on the web. Not so long ago, the public became indignant after the events involving Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougall. Recently, the discussion subject switched to the revelations of Omarosa Manigault and the anonymous author, who provided the New York Times with the shocking material, discrediting the president.
Relations with the first lady are another question of common public interest. Melania always preferred to stay in the shade of her husband but still gave several reasons to suspect lack of understanding between them. However, after a short break, she commented on materials provided by the anonymous critic, strongly protecting her husband.
September 11 is a black day in the US history. The tragic events of 2001 can’t be forgotten: the terrorists captured four passenger airliners, two of which were used to destroy the infamous twin towers of the World Trade Center. As a result, 2,977 people were killed, including 19 criminals; 24 were reported missing.
To commemorate the victims, the Trumps went to Pennsylvania, where the terrorists hijacked one of the airplanes. The First Lady was dressed officially and modestly at the same time. She chose a reserved dark blue coat dress from Hervé Pierre and a pair of shoes from Manolo Blahnik, completing the image with light make-up.
Melania was magnificent as always. However, even the elegant and carefully chosen outfit didn’t protect her from the public criticism.
In her Twitter, the First Lady shared a photo, taken with her husband on the background of the White House. She briefly added the words about the sorrowful events: #NeverForget 9.11.01.
The social network users considered the picture inappropriate.
Quick tip: When posting about a tragedy, a photo of yourself is never a good choice. When in doubt, just an american flag will do.— Etienne Laurent (@atnlowran) September 11, 2018
Why you essentially post a selfie to commemorate this solemn day? There are plenty of images available through Google that would be less narcissistic and self serving.— momish (@tracy_momma) September 11, 2018
Why a picture of you? So weird.— Robyn (@R0bynAnn) September 11, 2018
On the commemoration day, Americans also compared the way politicians wrote about the tragedy victims, in particular mentioning Donald Trump and Barack Obama. The current president was also brief.
17 years since September 11th!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 11, 2018
Unlike him, Barack Obama didn’t spare the words, causing public outcry as well.
We will always remember everyone we lost on 9/11, thank the first responders who keep us safe, and honor all who defend our country and the ideals that bind us together. There's nothing our resilience and resolve can’t overcome, and no act of terror can ever change who we are.— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) September 11, 2018
Donald’s behavior was also surprising. If his wife was reserved and emotionless, the president was faithful to his habits. He was constantly grimacing and couldn’t restrain himself from the favorite gestures.

We are sure that Donald and Melania mourned together with the whole country and tried to fulfill their duties in the best way. And how do you think, were their actions appropriate and sufficiently thought out? Or the public anger is justified? Share your opinions in the comments.
