Superfamous model Heidi Klum is raising 4 kids: 14, 12, 11, and 8. In spite of her demanding career, the woman tries to be with them every minute she can spare. Yet, on the internet, the mother doesn’t receive too much praise as a parent. On the contrary, she gets a lot of criticism for raising her kids “wrong”!

Many people disapprove of Heidi letting her daughters wear heels. As for the celebrity, she thinks the kids can choose what to wear for themselves, and parents shouldn’t restrict them.

People get upset, especially in Germany, if they see my daughters wearing high heels. If we go to a restaurant, they like to get dressed up. It’s fun for them. So what if they hobble on their little heels for 20 steps from the car to the restaurant? As long as they’re good kids and they get good grades, they can wear what they want to wear.

Let us remind you that Heidi Klum has three children with singer Seal — Henry, Johan, and Lou. She has one more child, Helene, from her former partner Flavio Briatore. Currently, the model is dating Tom Kaulitz, a member of group Tokio Hotel, 16 years younger than she is.

High heels overload girls’ spines and make them more prone to arthrosis in adulthood. The heels can lead to foot deformation, varicose veins, cause joints and tendons to displace. Moreover, children walk clumsily in such shoes and can injure or break a leg.

Heidi doesn’t pay attention to the annoying comments and believes it is OK for her daughters to wear high heel. Would you let your children do that? Share your thoughts in the comments!
